No exciting news

This weekend flew by and I landed at Monday but IT was gone before I knew it.

This morning I had to be in Fresno by 7:30am so I had to leave my house by 6:30, for a seminar I had to speak at. Jim and I have been under so much stress we did not have a good night or morning. When both of us are stressed we take it out on eachother, (not anything bad we just don't have any patience for the other person)

Pine (the recovery home) called yesterday and said they had a bed for Greg but he wouldn't go. He has been gone from our house for about 2 weeks and apparently is back in trouble. I am an expert now at finding greg so it took me less than 30minutes to track him down eventhough I had no idea where to start. After trying to talk him into going for 2 hours Jim took the car and left him in Ivanhoe where we found him. We are both very sad, but there is nothing more we can do.

Jim is taking it pretty hard especially with everything else right now.

At least the kids were good for him this morning since he had to wrestle them by himself. I took a couple pictures this weekend but Jim has the camera since his got stolen among other things last night from his car in the driveway. We originally thought it was Greg because they took some stuff and not others but turns out the whole neighborhood was hit and some of the doors were "slim-jimmed".

Anyway, I wanted to post and will post some pictures tonight.

No one is more sorry than I am with what you are dealing with - especially Greg, I know what a heart-ache and disappointment it is. You don't need any of bull shit stats or advice from me, so for once I will keep my big mouth shut and let you know from the bottom of my heart that I love you both and if you need anything -even if it is to just vent I am here for you. You have both done your best and are great parents! Take care of yourselfs and Hang in there!

Love Wendy

Jim and Lindsay -

Sometimes the 'old adages' that people repeat from 'back in the day' are the 'truest' things in life.

I too am so sorry to hear that Greg is making another bad decision when everyone (including Greg) was so hopeful that this was the time for change.

Don't give up on him, even when he gives up on himself. He's young and strong and he can take a lickin and keep on tickin a lot more than the old critters. As long as there is life, there is hope. I'm praying for him and for YOU all going through it!

...but back to sharing that old adage and you tell me if it is true or not?

"When children are small, they step on our feet...and when they are grown, they step on our hearts."

Jim happens to be one of those rare people who is experiencing BOTH events at the same time.

BIG EXTREME HUGS to JIM and Lindsay
and all the family.

I love you and I am here for you to count on, always.
