A Night Out
Wow it has been a while since I posted. SORRY!!!
Last night we were able to get out without the kids for the first time since Ben was born. We were invited to a Hockey game in Fresno with a guy (and his Fiance) Jim used to drive truck with. We had the girl that works at Ean's daycare come over and babysit which was perfect because she is really experienced and Ean knows her well. He didn't even care when we left and he was a perfect angel for her. Ben on the other hand, was his normal grumpy self.
We had a really nice time, it was a good game. I was super late though, we were supposed to leave at 6pm, the game started at 7pm, because of me we didn't leave until 6:40pm, and I still had to wear wet pants (from being washed and not dried enough). Jim ALWAYS gives me a hard time about being late. I don't know why I am, and lately it has been worse. I guess I just try to do too much. I always am thinking "oh, one more thing before I leave", then I am late. Anyway, we missed almost the whole first period, they didn't care too much so it was ok, but I felt bad.
Cary and Natalie are my age and as I told Jim I am reminded of why I married someone so much older than me. Natalie was pretty quiet but Cary was to me a typical 28 year old man(boy). He was very nice and fun to be around just a little bit immature for me and there is nothing wrong with that it just makes me appreciate who I have. I haven't spent any time with people my age in a while so it was funny to be taken back.
Tomorrow, we had planned to go on the annual Bikers for Kids bike run but we decided to go work on the Tulare house intead so our babysitter is coming back to watch "the boys".

I was getting really worried with no post. But ahhh relief. You posted. Nice Hockey Pictures.
Glad you two were able to go out...and the choice for a sitter?
