For the past few weeks I have been panicking that my darling toddler would not cooperate with us for Halloween and we would be stuck with all bawling pictures, or none at all, of him in his costume. It's amazing what a little bribery will do. Instead it was Ben that didn't really want to cooperate, although he did fall asleep right after we took pictures.
Ean was dressed as a boy riding a chicken
Ben was a Jester
Ean got the hang of Trick or Treating real fast. It involved two things he really loves, pushing "buttons" (doorbells) and getting "bites" (food or in this case candy).
We went around our neighborhood to beg for candy, and my dad, stepmom and brother came over, as well as Jim's brother Jeff and his wife Linda. Our friend Dawn came over too with her two boys and they went around with us and then helped pass out candy. We had pizza and visited too. We had tons of kids, I couldn't believe how many people came around which was wonderful since we have never had much luck with Trick or Treaters, we usually have a lot of candy left and this year even though I bought four bags of candy and my dad brought two bags we had to rob (ssshhh don't tell Ean) Ean's candy for the last few Trick or Treaters.
It was a great night, I wish more family lived close because that is one of my favorite things, having lots of people around and visiting. We took lots of pictures of all of us and I will post more tomorrow (maybe), but for now I wanted to get the boys on to "show them off".
BTW- Both costumes were Ebay costumes, oh and here was the back up costume I bought at Old Navy for Ean just in case he wouldn't wear the Chicken. We tried it on him over the weekend and you can see why I was so scared about tonight.
Goodnight and Happy Halloween (sorry Valerie).
A very SAD pumpkin.

That Boy riding a Chicken costume is so cool. I love the legs. Ben's costume is very cute. You picked out some great ebay costumes. What other things do you get off of ebay? I had the same worries about Colby. He did throw a fit and Ted must have had to tell him 20 times you aren't taking your costume off.
i have never seen a costume as funny as the chicken rider one! I love ebay!
