Ben is 6 weeks old today. He has been smiling at me for about a week now but these are the best pictures I have gotten. It is so neat to see him growing already. It is wonderful when they begin to get to know the world around them and actually look like they know you exist.

We had a good weekend. Today Jim and I had planned to be gone most of the day by ourselves but 1 and 1/2 hours into "our day" the babysitter called and said she was extremely sick and had to leave. Since we were in Three Rivers and wouldn't be home for a half an hour my dad came over right away so she could leave. It ended up being for the better as both Jim and I were able to get some things done around the house that desperately needed to be done.

Both the boys were good today and as we were getting ready for bed (Jim had already went up to bed) Tom called halfway between here and his church with his car broken down. Jim had to go get him and when he got there found out that he had his friend with him so they had to wait for the tow truck and the friend's dad. It all was ok, but now Tom is going to have a heafty repair bill on his car (plus a $65 tow bill). Good thing he has been getting more hours at work. Ah the joys of being a car owner. BTW- Tom turned off his BLOG so if you have been trying to check it that is why it won't come up. Ask him why because I don't know.

There is so much going on right now I could write for hours but I will try to do more updates to cover everything this week.
