Last weekend we went down south to visit my family down there. My Dad's brother and his kids live there. We have never really been close until recently, they all came up for a "Family Reunion" in May and so we went down there too.
We didn't have a lot of time there but it was really great to see them and where they live. I am glad we made the reconnection.
I have been super busy (of course) but we plan to get some things done around the house that have been lacking. It has been getting cooler here so I need to change the boy's clothes around and start packing up the summer stuff and pulling out winter stuff. It doesn't seem like much work, but it is.
I have to pack Ean's clothes in a plastic bin organized by size and season to pull our next year for Ben. Then Ben's stuff I have to pack up to give away or there are some favorite things that I will keep for my grandkids. That sounds stupid but I have some very favorite clothes that I just don't WANT to give away. Anyway, all of that has to happen in their room where of course they want to be playing while I do it so there is little room to spread out and they both now want to get into everything.
I also want to get into my office and for the thrid time and over a year after we moved in try to get it organized and useable. As of now it is a storage room and we only go in there to use the computer.
If you want to see more pictures of our trip go to the link below. You might have to copy and paste it. If that is too technical for you, I can email the link.
I will post more later and I even have a video of the horse ride.

This is a story about a husband and a wife who have promised to love, honor, and cherish each other through sickness and health, richer or poorer- their kids, their CAT their dogs and the ups and downs we call life!

Finally got a moment's peace to look at your Blog again...I loved the photos of course!
It must be fun to learn about a whole new branch off the family tree and to get to know the cousins, second cousins etc.
Hugs, Mom
Wow that is exactly what I have to do. Do the summer winter switcharoo with clothes. I have been waiting but now is the time. I am so not looking forward to it. I don't think you are dumb to save things for your grandkids.
I love the pictures. I don't think it is dumb either to save clothes for grandkids.
I am just in the process of revolving the clothes - it's getting pretty cold here!! I loved the pictures - they are SO cute on the ponies :-)
