Not to jinks myself but our new nanny started this week. Tuesday to be exact. She is young and seems to be doing good. I will share more at a later time.
I have not been able to catch up. I get one thing done and 5 new things come up. I hope it ends soon.
Ben's birthday party is tomorrow, errr today. I haven't even prepared AND was out of town all day Saturday. I still need to make a menu, shop, decorate, put together activities, print pictures, and that's all BEFORE the party. I haven't even had time to consider that my little baby is turning one and I will not have anymore first birthdays to prepare for. I can see the baby-itess setting in already.
Since we got back from my mom's I haven't hardly used my camera. I did get some pictures of Ean finger painting over last weekend. Also, since I got a new phone recently I have been taking some impromptu pictures with it (see above). Jim was able to get a few pictures from his adventure in babysitting yesterday. He couldn't take the whole day so he called Kristen to come save him and went to work on another house we are fixing up.
I did get their pictures professionally done Friday, they are so cute. Since I have to scan them and fix them and then post them you will have to wait to see them.
The only other news to report is that Jim and I are going to try to start a gym routine. There are four classes a week I plan to attend two of which Jim wants to do too. I am hoping if I like the classes it will motivate me to go. Once I go, I do good, but it is getting off of my lazy BUTT that is the problem.
Hopefully I will feel like posting more later for now I need to start planning and try to get more sleep.

I wish we could be there for Ben's first birthday! I loved seeing all of the pictures.
I can't say anything about Ean and the mascara since Lucas got pen ink all over his face while I was with him. (Plus at least this time it was makeup and not blood)

Just took at peek at the blog and realized it was Ben's FIRST BIRTHDAY! What a crummy grandmother! I hate it that I didn't get to share either Ean's or Ben's first Birthday in person...
...but feel lucky that I got to spend some time with him just before his first Birthday so it will be etched in my mind how he 'looks' at one year old.
Seems like just yesterday I was down there doing the only thing I could do to help after Ben was born (and I had those awful leg cramps)...and that was to hold him.
Both of my grandsons are just amazing little people...and I miss having them within easy reach.
I have been awful about my blog lately, things are very chaotic here lately it seems and I spend an inordinate amount of time either being excited and thrilled about the restaurant project (I love being down there in the middle of it whenever it is possible.)
...OR wondering what in the hell we've gotten ourselves into now? I even think of putting on a "Grand Opening - Going out of Business" Sale!
Can't wait for the new pictures of the Boys to arrive in the mail...
and I laughed about Ean's 'make-up' the day it happened as I happened to talk to 'DAD...that great caregiver'...on the day it happened.
Miss you all...HAPPY lst BIRTHDAY TO BEN...and like everyone else, I can't wait to see the pictures!
