After a fairly uneventful weekend Jim spent his Labor Day sick in bed. Which means I had the boys. Jim had/has some kind of yucky flu bug you know, the bad one. The boys were ok except Ean had Diarreah and Ben puked three times. Ben also had terrible fits everytime I tried to lay him down to sleep, especially when I tried to put him to bed for night. He cried for an hour and only finally went to sleep laying on my chest with me rubbing his head.
Tomorrow, hopefully, we have someone that is coming to "try out" the nanny job. She is older than most with not a lot of "nanny" experience but A LOT of mom experience. My worry is with the hours and the job she will quickly burn out because she has teenagers and a home of her own and a husband to take care of. We will see, I am trying not to get excited so I don't have the disapointment again.We have another busy week in front of us, and for some reason I can't sleep. After yesterday I need the sleep, but oh well. Anyway, now I am rambling, I will just post some pics. and say goodnight, or goodmorning, I guess.
*Top right: is taken when Papa took Ean, by themselves, to town one morning. They went to the bank and to the bike shop where Papa showed Ean off to all his friends and the bank tellers and Ean got to try out all the bikes.

Lindsay, I finally found your blog (d-uh, I clicked on your name however it took me a few months to figure that out)!!! I wondered about you when you posted comments on mine a few times. Your boys are ADORABLE!!! I hope you're all feeling better - being sick really sucks. And I hope things go well with the nanny, so many big things going on in your life lately! Glad to see you've checked my blog, now I'll be sure to keep up to date on yours! I'm missing lots of info - I'll have to go way back and read everything I've missed :-)!

I didn't get the pictures of the Aquarium visit...so they were new to me. I cannot believe how much I am missing those boys!
It usually takes a month or two before the 'missing' kicks in...but not this time!
I had such a blast with you and them...and now it is 'back to school' for me along with everything else...
You know about the Brokers Continuing Education Requirements...but a week before that I got notice that I had to take an 'Entry'level 'proctored' course of 20 units for my Oregon Mortgage License, so have been working on that...
Plus, I had to take the Oregon "Food Handlers" Class yesterday for the Restaurant biz...with Val and Jessica and Tom...so I feel like some sort of 'skoolie' lately. lol
Anyway, sorry to hear that Jim and the boys have been sick again...and hope everyone is feeling great soon.
Found out that there is some awful 'virus' going around that keeps being passed around in crowded places.
It causes the diarreah and throwing up...and often is passed from person to person in the food industry because people don't wash their hands properly after going to the bathroom in so many restaurants these days!
I've been washing my hands like a fiend after those classes! Big party night tomorrow at the Restaurant...will try to post the latest happenings here after that.
