The plane rides were ok. As good as could be expected with two little ones. We arrived in Fresno plenty early and had to wait two hours to leave. Jim was able to get a pass through security so he sat with us at the gate until we left, thank God! Here are a couple pics at the airport before we left. Ean loved watching the planes and Ben loved crawling around.
Everything was uneventful during the flights. Ean wasn't as impressed as I thought about flying. He did really good dispite the DVD player being dead until the final flight when we were starting to desent and he had to put his seatbelt on. He couldn't see out of the window with his seatbelt on so I let him take it off during the flight. When he had to sit down he threw the biggest fit and screamed as loud as he could.
When we arrived (40 minutes late) my mom was waiting....
We were so tired and I had a huge headache but we were in one piece. We still had an hour and a half drive home. It was great to get here and know we were "home"for a week.
We have had fun so far and we have plans to go to the Aquarium and the beach. Here are some picutres so far, will share more later. Ean just got back from a trip to town with Papa and is clinging to me with dear life.

Looks like they are having a great time.
Great Pictures... its funny to think we were in the Fresno airport just a few months ago and Lucas was looking out those same windows. Hope you enjoy your trip!
Hey Kari and Lisa...
Ask me if I know why God plans it so we have kids when we're young?
I'' bite :)
Why does God plan it so we have kids when we are young?
Because wjen you get old, and you watch what young Mom's do each day...you will marvel at it, and say
"I don't know how I did it!"
...and you'll be soooo thankful to God that you are a gramma now instead of a parent of toddlers.
You'll say, "Thank you God."
and God will answer, "Raising babies while you were young was all in the plan."
"Now, You get to love them and play with them and enjoy them...but all the hard work belongs to the Moms".
...and all I can say is "Whew".
