It was so wonderful to have the reunion Saturday. I don't even remember all of us getting together if we ever have. There was even my dad's cousin form Modesto here. It was wonderful. Ean wasn't feeling so hot but he did ok until the evening.
I guess I was more stressed about it than I thought because today I feel more relieved. I also had an event to go to in Lakewood (4 hours away) on Sunday and didn't finally get my dress for it until Saturday night (because it had to be hemmed). So that probably didn't help either.
I have been taking a lot of pictures and since I haven't posted there are a lot to share so here is the link to the slideshow, hope you enjoy.
We are doing pretty good. Ben is still not crawling or even scooting but he is getting stronger on his tummy so it could be anyday. Ean is doing really good, he has not had any behavior problems at daycare (like fit throwing and biting), so the park thing seems to be helping.
Jim's niece Kari and her son Lucas and his sister in law Valerie are coming Thursday and I am sooooo excited. I first met Kari when we went to Georgia, she was barely pregnant and then I got pregnant right after that. We keep up and know eachother very well from our blogs and I am extremely excited to see Kari and meet Lucas.
Just wanted to let you all know that we are better and everything is ok.

Oh I'm so glad you are LESS stressed.
I just watched the slideshow. That was pretty neat.
I hear Kari is really great and Lucas is the cutest 10 month old around so I bet you guys will have fun ;-)
nice slide show
I LOVED the slide show...thank you soooo much because I am missing my grandsons a lot. I thought I was alone in missing them, but Allen said how much he was missing them too 'just out of the blue' today.
Sometimes we are so on the same 'wave length' it is eerie!
Glad you had a great time at your reunion, and I remember a sort of Shadrick reunion long ago, but you were just a wee one at the time...so some of the kids in the photos wern't even born yet either.
I always think of Ritchie and Randy as teenagers and they both were a lot of fun to be around. Eunice was always a 'gem' too.
Of course it is 'shocking' to see how everyone is 'aging' compared to the memories we carry of them.
I'm certainly lucky to be so 'ageless' as I walk through time...ha ha.
Thanks for sharing...enjoyed it a lot!
