Today is my stepdad's birthday, aka Papa. Allen and I have had our differences but now that I am grown we get along great.
Ean loves him so much and Papa feels the same (I think). Ean has his "papa shirt" and if he even sees it he has to wear it. I wish we could be there to celebrate especially since he just had to have a pace maker put in but we can't.
We just have to wish you a Happy Birthday from afar- hope you have a WONDERFUL day!!!

Allen 'adores' Ean and talks about him all the time to almost everyone. Ean is definitely a "Papa's Boy" and I am laying claim to Ben being "Grammie's Boy"....until I can charm Ean better.
Thanks for the post...I'll show it to Allen when he and William get back from Allen's Doctor check up in Corvallis...and their trip to Portland to see the Ventos at a Dealership there...and then to Home Depot to get the stuff to fill up the 'gutted' bathroom on the little house we're selling next.
I love that picture of Allen and I and don't think I saw that before.
