Last night Jim's dad was officially ordained as a minister AND celebrated his 80th birthday, which was on the 26th.
The ceremony was at his church in Porterville and then the party was at a pizza place afterward. It was a wonderful time, made especially wonderful because two of Jim's brothers were there with their significant others and Jim's niece Davia and nephew Sam were there too.
OF COURSE, we were late to the ceremony but we made it, and it was beautiful, and the boys were good. We didn't get home until after 11pm so we are all kind of dragging today.
Here are the best pictures from the night and Happy Birthday to the best Father- In- Law a girl could ask for!

Congratulations to Jim's Dad. Glad you had a great time...
Does that mean he has to be really 'good now'? Hey Jim...maybe you can become a minister too?
You would be one of the funniest preachers ever...especially with that 'gift' of naming things...
Seriously, I think that is really cool.
