A new friend

On Tuesday my friend Dawn had her baby. A little girl named Madison. Yesterday her and Ben met for the first time. They are only 7 weeks apart but right now it seems like a lifetime. It amazes me that Ben has grown so much. He is smiling and cooing so much now and is very alert. Above in the picture you can see how much he has grown. Madison is even a pound bigger than Ben was when he was born. I sure didn't realize how much weight he has put on but just looking at them together is the proof. Also, holding him then holding her is so different. Eventhough he is still very little he feels like you could just throw him on your hip and go compared to her. I am very excited to watch them grow up together they will be such good friends and it will be so neat to show this picture to them when they are teenagers so they can say "wow look how long we have been friends".
